About This Item

Text is clean and unmarked. Front cover has several creases with a small area scraped at the front margin. Back cover has a small chip out of the bottom outside corner. "Jewish History" is written on the top outside corner of the half title page. "The Jewish Pilgrim Fathers had much in common with those hardy pioneers who had landed at Plymouth Rock three and a half decades earlier. Like them they were fundamental dissenters to this country to escape the wave of persecution instituted against the Jews of Brazil after the Portuguese recapture of that territory from the Dutch." p.7.
