1706 professionally re-cased in marbled boards with leather spine having 5 raised bands and gilt titling. the authorised first folio edition of Defoe's major verse satire endorsing the idea of constitutional government. As in all copies, there is a gap in the pagination of Book III (pp11-14, no D1 or D2, but the catchword is correct. all pages present. some papers are notably browned - consistent with age. some tarnish marks. no inscriptions.
