Red cloth boards and spine with tarnished gilt lettering on the spine; Kansas map in front; frontispiece picture of State Capital in front. 253 pp 8vo. The author is a school principal and thus this book reads much like a school textbook as it seeks to give the populace a better knowledge of political institutions and the government of Kansas. The reader will learn the history of the State of Kansas and the acquaintance of some of her best writers in prose and poetry. A clean very presentable copy.
