Boston: Smith & Palmer, 1844 Scarce manual for an even scarcer early American circular slide rule. Lacking the final text page, and priced accordingly. Full brown cloth, gilt titling, blind-stamped decoration. Generally in good condition, with some wear and scuffing, insect damage on spine, corners bumped. Missing the final text page! Small textured patch on title page with previous owner's initials, first blank leaf foxed, minor foxing to title page, text looks clean - but missing final page. 48 pages only, should be 50.. First Edition. Cloth. Poor. 4" by 6¼".
