About This Item

Privately Published, 2011. BRAND NEW in a BRAND NEW dust jacket. Perfect condition. NOT priced or clipped. NO chips. NO tears. NO creases. Sharp corners. Bright and shiny. Fresh, crisp, clean - obviously never read. NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a remainder. Semi-fictional biography. Bound in the original blue cloth, stamped in bright gold on the spine. From the dust jacket: "Abandoned and left at a local shelter at a young age, a Maine Coon kitten awaits an uncertain fate. At the last moment, just before his time is up, he finds a new home, filled with love…. Down, but not out, Khan struggles against his internal foe, wanting only to stay beside the humans and feline friends he adores. His inner strength and desire to never leave the ones he loves gives him the courage to fight, astonishing friend and foe alike. In his darkest hour, he manages to stay with his loved ones, in a way he never expects. Even then, his fight is not over, for he has defied the laws of nature. As life-forces struggle to balance what he has upset, he briefly loses contact with his loved ones, but returns, triumphant, and attacks life with gusto, young and strong again, yet not the same cat everyone knew and loved.". About About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
