London: Macmillan and Co. Limited, 1926. First edition. 8vo, 319pp plus [4] pgs publisher's ads at rear. Illustrated brown cloth, top edge stained brown, in jacket. Some light bumping at spine ends and along top edge, clean and sound internally. Jacket very good with some soiling, a few small edge tears, and two tape repairs along bottom edge. Original price of 7/6 net in tact. First book in the Cuanduine sequence from Eimar O'Duffy (1893-1935), a satirical Irish epic for a young adult audience, which continued with The Spacious Adventures of the Man in the Street (1928) and Asses in Clover (1933).
