Blue cloth hardcover with gilt title on front cover and spine. Front and rear hinges are cracked. Some superficial insect rubs to the edges and to the spine. Previous owner inscription on the right front flyleaf - "H. H. Richardson 2905 E. Broad Street Richmond Va." Contents include diaries; six rosters of Confederate companies in the 26th and 34th Virginia Infantry and 5th Virginia Cavalry; a memoir of the King and Queen Artillery, and more Confederate Civil War history. The previous owner was a noted Architect in Richmond.
