Visually the exterior appearance is exceptional, and even internally, the book is also in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation for a book of its age and nature, i.e. an ephemeral p/back issue/edn.This really is an exceptional, exemplary copy for its cleanliness, brightness and lack of detracting faults and higher grading. It (titled onscreen as It Chapter One) is a 2017 American supernatural horror film directed by Andy Muschetti. It is the first of a two-part adaptation of the 1986 novel of the same name by author Stephen King, and primarily covering the first chronological half of the book.Being the first film in the It film series,as well as being the second adaptation following the Tommy Lee WAllace's 1990 mini series. Derry,Maine is just an ordinary town: familiar, well ordered for the most part,a good place to live. It is a group of children who see - and feel - what makes Derry so horribly different.Inthe storm drains,in the sewers, IT lurks, taking on the shape of every nightmare, each one's deepest dread.Sometimes IT appears as an evil clown named Pennywise and sometimes IT reaches up,seizing, tearing, killing . . . Time passes and the children grow up,move away and forget.Until they are called back, once more to confront IT as IT stirs and coils in the sullen depths of their memories, emerging again to make their past nightmares a terrible present reality. Please contact seller, because of the heavier weight of the paperback, for correct shipping/P+p quotes - particularly ALL overseas buyers - BEFORE ordering through the order page! N.B. ALL buyers please note, that stocks' actual shipping/P+p costs are adjusted and any difference is refunded, after order's receipt and before the order's despatch, especially if the item(s) are offered either P+p included/FREE. ** N.B. US/Canada customers please be aware: Standard AIRMAIL postage from UK to these destinations can now cost more than the price of any inexpensive book! If speed is not of the essence, then Economy rate is recommended - at approx. anything from a 1/3rd to 1/2 of the standard US AIR quote/rate - sometimes arriving sooner than the 42 days - but not always. **

Synopsis

IT weaves a supernatural tale of seven socially outcast kids who find themselves brought together one summer to battle an ancient and deadly shape-shifter known as IT. IT emerges from the sewers once every 27 years, using it's polymorphic abilities to terrify and prey upon children in the rural town of Derry, Maine - often in the form of the demonic Pennywise the Clown. IT was made into a television mini-series in 1990, starring Tim Curry and more recently as a blockbuster film (2017).
