The Macmillan Co., New York, 1959; First Edition; 8vo, 266 pages. John Berry’s first novel, set in mysterious India, involving a snake and half-Quaker/ half-American Indian hired to kill it. Very Good Plus, clean and crisp, in a VG- dust jacket with sunned spine and light wear at the uppermost edge of the spine panel. Corners of the front flap of the dust jacket shallowly clipped, not affecting the printed price. No ownership signatures or any markings of any kind.
