Half green morocco and marbled paper, gilt-stamped lettering and decoration in spine compartments (5 raised bands), t.e.g.; small 4to; contains he complete text (11 installments) of Mrs. Humphry Ward's "Lady Rose's Daughter," as it was published by Harper's Magazine, with b/w and color plates preserved, as well as portions of whatever text was published alongside each installment (such as poems, the beginnings or ends of other articles). First installment, Volume CIV, Number DCXXIV, May 1902. Contemporary gift inscription on FFEP, otherwise fine.
