Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill Co., 1946. First Limited Edition. Near fine in decorated green cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine and on the front board with map end sheets. An octavo of 8 3/8 by 5 3/4 inches. In a very good+ unclipped dust jacket with shallow chipping across both ends of the spine area and several small chips to the edges of both boards. A special limited edition signed by the author on the decorated, tipped-in, second free end page. The seventh volume in The American Lakes Series edited by Milo M.Quaife. 381 pages containing an index and bibliographical notes. (Fitzgerald, AL1a)
