Nice book profusely illustrated with more b/w plates with tissue facing and numerous beautiful illustrations in text. Also includes a fold out plate, map of the Holy Land. Page 433 soiled at bottom corner, few light smudges at edges, otherwise pages good condition. Black endpapers. Back endpapers lighlty worn at spine. Front endpapers worn and coming loose at spine. Green cloth with nice gilt and brown bands and decoration on upper cover and on title. Gilt titles. Beveled edges. Boards and spine show wear. Head/tail of spine, edges and corners lighlty worn and bumped. VG-. Hardcover. Very Good-.
