Very large, very heavy, sturdy book, quality dark blue cloth, silver lettering very bright on spine, an illustration in grays and white showing an encampment of sleeping soldiers and above them in the clouds, the ghosts of an army inside covers and adjacent end papers, 354 pages, profusely illustrated with antique pictures, some full-page, and it includes a glossy photo section as well. DJ glossy peach background at top front, spine top and back, a color-illustration of cavalry charge on most of front and spine, at center back a color-illutration of soldiers meeting with an array of flags and banners. DJ and book, both Very Fine.
