About This Item

A First UK printing published by Macmillan in 1975. The BOOK is in near FINE condition being tight and clean from inscriptions. There is very mild pushing at the spine ends and a hint of offsetting to the end papers. The book appears unread. There is the usual tanning of the pages due to the poor paper quality used at that time but less so than normally encountered . The WRAPPER is in near FINE condition with minimal edge wear and importantly NO fading of the front cover panel. The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. Loosely inserted is a paper bookplate which has been Inscribed and Signed by the author: ' With greetings from Oxford, and all good wishes always, Colin Dexter'. Extremely scarce title to find in such collectible condition and the first title in the iconic 'Inspector Morse' series. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.

Synopsis

Last Bus to Woodstock is a crime novel by Colin Dexter, the first of thirteen novels in his Inspector Morse series.
