This edition combines both sets of Legends and Lyrics, collections of poems by Queen Victoria's favourite poet, originally published in two separate volumes. With an Introduction by Charles Dickens. New edition with additional poe,s by Ida Lovering. Dark blue full leather with red leather label, gilt titles and decorative gilt motifs to the spine, raised bands to the spine, blind impressed dentelles, marbled to all edges, marbled boards endpapers. Black and white frontis with tissue guard and further plates throughout. Slight wear to points. Small area of surface damage to the edge of the red label to the spine. Text is very clean and crisp. otherwise a really very nice copy. Very good copy . Hardback. 1866.
