Spine with five raised bands brightly gilt tooled/lettered. Handsome marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. SEE PHOTOS. 6.5" wide by 9.5" tall. NO owner's name or bookplate. Sharp corners. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Illustrated with 4 plates, of which 2 are in full color, including the frontispiece portrait. Limited edition of 450 copies. This is numbered 325 of 350 copies printed for Fellows of the Pierpont Morgan Library. This copy inscribed in pencil (easily erasable): "To my dear friend Louise Scribner from (illegible)..."
