Beacon Press, 1974. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good+. Hardcover: Clean blue cloth boards with design in red on front board. Title in gold on spine. Foredge lightly foxed. Text pages are crisp and clean. Very nice wrap around illustrated dust jacket has been placed in protective mylar. The founding of these churches is set against the religious life of the Dutch Reformed church and the Episcopal and Presbyterian. Unitarianism was not welcomed. Nice tight binding.
