'Lies of Silence' is a 1990 novel focusing on the effects that The Troubles had on individual people. In 1990, it was one of six works shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize.Brian Moore (1921-1999) was an Irish screenwriter and author, shortlisted thrice for the Booker Prize, having published a profuse number of novels, short stories and screenplays. This is a limited edition.Signed by the author to the title page.In a glassine dust wrapper. In a quarter cloth binding, with a glassine dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper has some slight loss to the head and tail of the spine as a result of chipping, otherwise minor wear. Signed by the author to the title page.
