Illustrated. xiipp; 343pp. This is a clean and tight copy of Bulletin 121 from thhe Smithsonian Institution United States national Museum publihsed in 1922. From the library of the ornithologist Dr. Geoffrey Bevan with his ink name, place and date ( Ventno 4/10/47) to the front end paper. Bound in contemporary cloth with gilt embossed title to the spine. Illustrated with numerous b/w photographic plates, including a frontispeice plate. Previous owners name inscriebed faintly in ink to the reverse of the frontispiece plate. The head and tail of the spine and three board corners are a little bumped.The book is clean and tight. A very good copy.
