From the dust jacket flap, "From 1833 until after the Civil War, Charles and Louis of Charleston operated rice plantations called 'Growrie' and 'East Hermitage' on Argyle Island in the Savannah River of Georgia". This is a quality Beehive Press book printed at The Stinehour Press in Vermont.
