Covering his whole life, opening with his birth and closing with events after his death, mostly regarding his family, until 1801. Dedicated to Charles Dickens.Illustrated with a frontispiece. In a charming quarter vellum binding over cloth covered boards. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, minor light soiling to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound.
