About This Item

Edged Publishing Company, 1891. First Edition. Half leather. Good. Octavo, 607 pp., half red leather, gilt fore-edges, floral end-papers, frontis with tissue guard, Pages 226-230 have been cut with a scissors creating neat closed tears (until you open the pages) that run partially to almost fully from the margin to the gutter. Light rubbing to the extremities; one very small closed tear to the bottom of the spine. Binding is sound. -- Other than the scissored pages, I would have described this book as very good.
