The book is in new condition: no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean, no foxing, tight binding, never used. The dust jacket is in new condition with no tear, no rubbing, no chips, clean. This book was acquired directly from the publisher and kept in climate controlled storage for years. The book measures 242mm tall x 165mm, and has 144 pages, 17 color & 102 b/w photos, bibliography, index. A good source of information on how to go about organizing a small expedition. Covers practical matters and gives attention to keeping down expenses: equipment, travel (good section on river crossings), climbing considerations, medical aspects, etc. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
