Collated, complete.Author Martin Johnson and his wife, Osa, followed and photographed the big cats of East Africa, in this work described by the publisher as 'about lions and about adventures with lions'.The first chapter, on the dangers of lion hunting, was of particular interest upon publication.A lovely copy of this popular title. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped cloth binding. Externally, excellent, with bumping to spine tail. Light sunning to dust wrapper back strip. Loss to dust wrapper back strip tail, with chipping to back strip head, and significant edgewear, with the odd closed tears to perimeters. Six small adhesive tape repairs to dust wrapper reverse.
