Frederick Warne & Company, 1900. Hardcover. Good. Undated early printing, not a first; ca 1905. Illustrated by Kate Greenaway. Heavy shelf-wear, light to moderate age-soiling and edgewear. FFEP is missing and binding cracked, with cloth tape repair to front inner hinge and another at the gutter of pages 62-63. Top margin of RFEP (about 1/2-inch) is torn away. No other loose or missing pages. Pages toned, soiled; prior owner's name on a gilt/wax seal at FFEP; interior else clean, text unmarked.
