Color frontispiece. Illustrated title-page. Illustrated with 8 full page color plates, including frontispiece, and 4 full page and many in-text b/w illustrations by Dorothy p. Lathrop. Binding rubbed with wear along edges, corners bumped and light fraying at head and tail of spine. Remnants of sticker at tail of spine though no other indication that it might have been a library book. Spine, including lettering faded. Closed three inch tear at top of illustrated front endpaper. Starting at page 70. block with light age-toning. Binding and interior in overall good condition.
