London: John Lehman, 1950. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 8" by 5.5". None. The first edition of this collection of short stories from Paul Bowles. Including 'The Echo', 'The Scorpion', 'The Circular Valley' and more. Paul Frederic Bowles (December 30, 1910 - November 18, 1999) was an American expatriate composer, author, and translator. In a green cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Some light bumping to the boards. Dustwrapper is sound, though with some slight wear to the extremities, and a few handling marks. Tape repairs to the rear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just some foxing to the endpaper. Very Good Indeed
