Hodder and Stoughton, 1905. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1905. Fifteenth Edition. 299 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering. Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Cracking to gutters, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth, splits and loss. Moderate tanning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.
