With a Presentation inscription from Davies to Walt Kuhn. Octavo, cloth-backed marbled boards, introduction, table of contents, and 33 tissue-guarded plates of reproductions of works by Davies. Provenance: Ernest, III. st Rohdenburg, with his blindstamp on the title page, and with a 1981letter to him from Sothebys returning the book to him. Light to moderate wear to the cloth, to the label on the spine, to the edges, and to the tissue-guards, but still about Very Good.Walt Kuhn studied with Davies, and considered him a mentor. Both Kuhn and Davies were among the leading organizers of The Armory Show.
