Black print on orange paste-on on spine; black print on beige paste-on on front. Top layer on spine is coming loose along the back side - should be easily glued. Bumping and fraying to edges/corners of board. Scuffing to boards; darkening to edges of baords. Boards in Good or better condition. Pages tight but book will lay open (pages detached along inside spine/gutter). Pages clean/unmarked. 183 pages. "This Special Edition of The Log Of A Forty-Niner printed on Georgian hand-made Deckle edged paper, consists of one hundred and fifty-five signed and numbered copies of which this is Number 7 (folowed by author signature" Inside front board is written "15 - " "#98" "155 copies printed". Also on same page is a small ex-libris sticker and a small pasted on page with info about the book. Another POs name is writtern on top of the ffep along wth 1930. "The Logof a Forty-Niner . Being the record of adventrues by sea and shore to the California God-Fields and the Pacific Northwest, 1849 - 1854. Illustrated from original sketches by the author. Edited from original manuscripts; now for the first time published." Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
