NY: The Viking Press, 1943. Second edition. Hardcover. Very Good/good. 6 x 8 1/2 in. Red cloth wit gilt on spine. "Literary Edition". Condition is VERY GOOD ; corners and ends of spine bumped, no ege wear. Covers have very faint spots and toning. Binding tight and text very clean with very mild foxing to sides of text block. DJ is GOOD ; edges much worn and chipped, some tears, creases and rubbing, spine toned and foxed. Essays. Stax.
