Illustrated with frontispiece and four full-page images. Collated complete. A selection of eight entertaining adventure short stories. Containing 'The Long Traverse', 'The Gold of Sagne', 'The Wonderful Beaches', 'Cadieux', 'The Man Who Dreamed of Islands', 'Big Dog', 'White Water', and 'The Faraway People'. Written by John Buchan, a Scottish novelist, historian, and Unionist politician. Illustrated by John Morton Sale, an English artist. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine and tide marks with discolouration to the spine and joints. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light shelf wear and chipping to the extremities. The odd small closed tear and minor loss to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good
