Dodd, Mead, 1956. Cloth. Fine/Near Very Good. (Originally published, 1928) Slightly smaller book, red cloth, silver lettering bright on spine. DJ heavy paper, gray and red with illustration of red sword on front, white back slightly browned with praise for H.V. Morton book. Fiction set in Cyprus during the 13th Century--a lord promises to protect the wife of a knight in the crusades. DJ has very slight surface wear to front tips, micronick at bottom front edge, three very tiny surface wear spots at spine bottom edge, microtear at top back edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
