DJ/Poor; intact, edge worn w/losses to upper spine. First published New Fathoms, 1950; this is the first 1958 printing by Citadel Press. Nobel & Pulitzer winner Eugene O'Neill (1888 - 1953) arrives at the Wharf Theatre, Provincetown, MA in 1916 w/a trunkful of plays. "Bound East for Cardiff" was immediately staged. The remaining "trunkful" lay hidden for years as the playright's new works received acclaim. This volume contains those lost works, all written 1913 to 1915, and all non-royalty plays and very stageable. They are: 1, Abortion; 2, The Movie Man; 3, The Sniper; 4, Servitude, Acts I, II & III; and, 5, A Wife for Life.
