Ballantine Books, New York., 1973. First Edition July 1973. Softcover.. Near Fine/--. Paperback.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Looks NEVER READ. Book Interior NEAR FINE / Covers Very Good Plus. Book feels Never read, there are no spine creases. Covers are white, lettering red/black, colour photo front by East African Railways Corporation. Spine is straight, square, solid, has a small black line across which is not a remainder mark but owner’s code. Covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, back cover has an old 1 3/4 inch corner crease, is slightly age darkened in places and has three or four tiny dents which did not break the paper. Front cover has a small old crease in upper right and a very faint vertical crease beside spine when someone read the ffep but rest of book is unopened, front cover lower outer corner has old diagonal creases 4 inches long, 2 1/2 inches long and 1 inch long restored flat long ago, front cover has tiny dot of colour off in the last S in Express, book has minor edge wear. Page edges 3 yellow, top edge near spine slightly sunned rest clean and bright, bottom edges clean and bright, side edges clean and bright but has four visible round lighter areas where a droplet of water must have touched. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, bright, flat. Book has never been read but the water droplets on the side have made the very edge in those areas a bit wavy, first area is 9/16 L x 3/16, second is 7/8 inch L x 1/8 inch, third is 7/8 L x 1/8 and fourth is 3/8 L x 1/8 inch, only the very edges of the pages are wavy it doesn’t extend even into the text. The lower outer corner tips of pages 443 to 452 were accidentally dog eared 1/2 inch on side perhaps when book was put away, restored flat a while ago. The lower outer corner tips of pages 453 to 458 were accidentally dog eared 1 1/4 inches on side for same reason. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding and on edges of some pages. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
