An octavo of 8 by 5 3/8 inches with the upper fore corner of the front cover curled. There is a prior owner's name in pencil on the title page. Without a dust jacket as issued. 488 pages of text. The front cover states "This is an advance, uncorrected proof of Lust for Life by Irving Stone To be published in the Fall of 1934".
