About This Item
Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1929. Printing Unknown. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Alexander King. Immaculate interior except for pencil price on FFEP; page edges and text slightly and evenly yellowed. Minimal wear to black cloth gilt stamped boards, if any, noticeable at head of spine where there is a hint of separation gap and fraying. Superior specimen which has been in my private collection for the last 30 years. Iconic title for and about Haiti. Copyright (1929) page shows no indication of edition or printing, missing dust jacket.

I actually have this exact copy and came here to find a price on it... I picked it up for $25 at a local book store :) it's wildly racist in some parts and an amazing read..! Badass to know I really do have a first edition!
