She is best known for her illustrations for 'The Water Babies', which she drew and painted when she was only twenty years old. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Minimal bumps to the head and tail of spine, as well as the extremities, with light fading and discolouration to the margins of boards and spine. A few marks to boards. Light spots to paste downs and endpapers, with light fading to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with age-toning to margins of verso sides of pages, and the odd spot.
