Saipan: the newspaper, 1976. Newspaper. Four issues of the tabloid format newspaper, some uneven toning and mild handling wear. Issues present are vol. 4 nos. 37 and 38, and vol. 5 nos. 1 and 3. Local news from Saipan as well as the broader region, including updates on discussions of the future status of Micronesia. The Palestinian-born editor is said to have run the paper largely as a one-man show.
