About This Item
Charles L. Webster & Company, 1888-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. 0x0x0. First ed., 1888, with holograph of Twain's "Compiler's Apology;" 707 p., immaculate and unmarked--not ex-lib., no former owner's name; many ill. by E. W. Kemble. With skillful repair it would be "very good"--gutters cracked and texturedrued maroon boards with maroon leather spine and ends are rubbed along side and at crown and foot; raised bands with tilt lettering still bright. Surely this wonderful volume deserves loving care.
