The Arabic edition in 2 volumes; (Vol. 1) 2 lvs. of introduction by Ahmad Hassan al Bakouri, Minister of Waqfs and Creswell, separately inserted in 1954. 3 lvs of index, 76 p., 93 full page monochrome lithographic plates with index of 11 and12 pages printed in 1951 together with 2 folding maps in colors inside rear pocket in the end of the volume. (Vol. 2) 2 lvs of introduction, Pages from 77 to 148, Plates from 94 to 243. Some plates in the tow volumes are in colors and with tissue guards. The English edition in 2 volumes; (Vol. 1) 2 lvs. of introduction by Ahmad Hassan al Bakouri, Minister of Waqfs and Creswell, separately inserted in 1954. 2 lvs. index, 68 p., 1 lv. glossary, 93 full pages monochrome lithographic plates with index to Mohammedan Monuments appearing on the special 1:5000 scale maps of Cairo: Numerical order in 14 p. and Alphabetical order in 13 p. printed in 1951 together with 2 folding maps in colors in rear pocket in the end of the volume. (Vol. 2) 1 lv. index, pages 69 to 133, 1 lv. glossary, plates 94 to 243. Some plates in the tow volumes are in colors and with tissue guards. Many initials through the text pages in the four volumes. The four volumes are in similar original Islamic style bindings..
