Text free of marks, binding solid, small rubbing mark to front cover and manufacturing defect to rear cover affecting margin of last 30 pages. 982 pp. Volume II: very good+, v, 67 pp. Very small closed tear to top front. Conducted by the Personal Security Board of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, these hearings culminated in withdrawal of Oppenheimer's security clearance. Large parts of these transcripts were adapted into the screenplay of Christopher Nolan's Oscar-winning movie Oppenheimer.
