About This Item
Ancient world al77 Arthur Ludwich Maximi et Ammonis carminum de actionum auspiciis reliquiae. Accedunt Anecdota astrologica. Recensuit Arthurus Ludwich. (Bibliotheca scriptorum graecorum et romanorum Teubneriana). Lipsiae: B.G. Teubneri, (1877), viii, 126p. Green cloth spine with mint green paper over boards, paper label on spine. Maximus and Ammon were astrologers. $15.00 Box 23.
This is a reprint, probably from the 1980's, when a professor of classics was studying in Tubingen. Seems he had privately reprinted a number of works on the ancient work. Must have been very expensive for him. There appears to be some close cropping to side page edge on page vii but still readable. Type is a little light. Preface is in Latin while text is Greek.
