London: Printed for the editor, 1819. First edition. Hardcover. Good. First edition. Folio, approx. 12'' by 10'', attractive full leather binding with gilt titling on spine & embossed border & central design on covers. This has been rebacked some time ago using the original covers & spine. Corners & edges rubbed, some scuffing. Marbled endpapers. Vi + 122pp plus index and 60 engraved plates with 377 coins/medals illustrated showing both front & reverse views. The coins are briefly described with inscriptions given etc. Generally the inner book is in very good condition, some foxing, particularly to front, & one plate has a water stain. Ex reference library with minimal markings. Single blind stamp on title, preface, contents and first page and on last plate. No other obvious library markings. Ex libris with contemporary bookplate of Sir George Stewart on front pastedown. ***Over 1kg & may require extra overseas postage***
