Lancaster, PA: The New Era Printing Company, 1910-1924. First edition.. A tight and clean set in near fine condition.. Pp. 205; 259; 386; 400; 387; 460; 300; 427; 529; 520; 347. Early full black pebble cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine + original pale green printed wrappers (for Part IV), lg 8vo. This is a complete set of this monumental taxonomic work on the Coleoptera. Parts I and II are bound together in the first volume; thus all eleven parts of this set are presented in 10 volumes (Part IV is in the original wrappers as issued). It is very rare to find a complete set in uniform bindings. Bookplate of the Reading Public Museum on the front endpaper, museum ink stamp on the rear endpaper and white call number on the spine; no signs of use.
