Boston: Copeland and Day, 1897. 1st ed. Hardcover. Very Good. 73p. Original brown cloth. 18cm. Extremities slightly rubbed. No Jacket. INSCRIBED by Burton on the half-title page. Laid in is a 4-page Autograph Note Signed from Burton which is dated August 15, 1898 and is addressed to "Dear Girls" who seem to have been two sisters named Johnson (one was probably Eleanor since Eleanor Johnson has been written on the front free endpaper).
