Ohio Area Sequicentennial Committee, n.p, 1962. First Edition (No Additional Printings). Hardcover. Fine Condition/Good+. Signed by Author. Inscribed by the author ("With high regard | [signature]") on the front free end paper. This book was written for the 150th anniversary of the Methodist Church in Ohio. From the introduction: "The author has attempted in a single volume to cover the vast field of Methodism in Ohio so as to make evident the circumstances of its origin and early development, which caused it to be the largest Protestant body in the state" (p. 6). Size: 8"-9" - Octavo (8vo). 372 pages. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked, printed on glossy paper stock. Wine colored cloth over boards with dulled gilt title on front cover and spine. Corners are sharp; minimal shelf wear. Plain paper unclipped dust jacket. Wear at the folds, chip at top of the front fold of the spine; some loss at the head and foot of the spine. Small spot of loss on the back fold of the spine (not affecting any text). All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Quantity Available: 1.
