Some wear to the spine ends and corner tips. 1" crack at bottom of the front gutter. Drip mark on top coloured edge of the text block. Other text block edges show light soil. Original price sticker on front. Light overall soil. Previous owner's name on front endpaper. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. The first title of six in the children's Wynn and Lonny racing books. The actual author of this title was Sylvia Wilkerson, who shared the writing of the six volume series with Bill Fishburne. In this book, the boys think they have enrolled in a racing school in California only to find it does not exist. They instead become involved in a race down Baja California which gets them involved with Mexican smugglers. .
