Norwalk, CT: Easton Press. Near Fine. 1980. Hardcover. First published in 1860, this Easton Press edition has an introduction by David Daiches. This book is beautifully bound in a full red leather binding with 22 kt gold spine and cover decorations. The spine has four raised bands with five decorated compartments. All edges are gilt, and the book has brown silk moire end papers with a brown silk ribbon bookmark. The pages are acid-free and they are smyth-sewn, not glued. There are no owner bookplates or owner names in the book. This is a very pretty book that would make a fine addition to any library.
