Reader reviews for Millwright: Level One

From the publisher

Millwright, Level 1, is the first installment of a four-level curriculum for a standard millwright apprenticeship program. Over the course of the series, you'll learn the components of the mechanical systems that a millwright interacts with. You'll also get step-by-step guidance in installing, removing, troubleshooting and maintaining these components.

In the 4th Edition, NCCER's fully revised Millwright curriculum moves from five to four levels, to fit a standard four-year industry training program. Content updates reflect modern tools and approaches, such as field sketching, which is now an elective based on its relevance to the work environment.

You'll also benefit from a more focused approach to job skills. Across the series, more than 100 hours of elective modules are available for longer programs, to cover more in-depth training.
